Well my dad and I set up a stand on Monday over a water hole. The stand was about 30 feet high. On Friday after school we went back to that
stand. there was a slight breeze. A cow and a calf came in but they did not really want to water so they left. About 30 min later I heard something
like two horns hitting each other. Over on a hill about 700 yards away there was two bulls fighting. They walked off in to the bush after awhile of this.
20 or so mins later a herd of cows came out into a clearing that was located right behind and to the left of me. There was 16 cows out just eating .
Then out of the trees came the the bigger of the two bulls that were fighting. He walk all the way around the water hole not giving me a good shot.
So I watched him walk right out of sight a little farther. Then I gave him 2 cow calls. That bull came charging in with the smaller bull following by about
15 yards. The 2 bulls stopped right at my tree stand. The bigger one going to water. As the bull ran on the trail right passed my stand I counted his
points 1,2,3..3 that was good enough. When the bull stopped at the water I ranged him at 24 yards. The bull was 24 yard broad side. When the bull
gave me the perfect stoot, I drew my bow and shot him right behind the front shoulder. That bull crashed through the water hole and started up the
trail. He died 45 yard from were I hit'em.
