Most of you are aware a buddy of mine from BC was drawn for bighorn sheep in Alberta this fall.  We were in the Willmore for a week with no luck and a mid-October hunt fell through.  We were left with a November hunt in the 410 bowzone.  We went out on Friday for the first time in the bow zone, and well, the picture says it all.  We came upon a group of rams and Travis made his first shot at a sheep count.  One to three feet of snow and a 13 hour day made it a challenging hunt that I'm sure Travis or I, won't soon forget.  Travis told me that harvesting a sheep has been a 14 year quest for him, and getting it with a bow made it all that much sweeter.  The smile says it all.  This 10 1/2 year old ram will score over 160 Pope & Young.  Hell of a Sheep!
Congratulations Travis!  It was well earned
